Broughton Park is a lovely, leafy suburb of Salford albeit classed by the locals as part of Prestwich, only 1.5 miles away from the city centre. This suburb boasts some of the most substantial houses and gardens in North Manchester, and with Sedgley Park, is home to the largest Orthodox Jewish community in Europe outside of London. To the east side, Leicester Rd is bustling with independent shops and to the west the much more peaceful Clowes Park, which benefits from a well-maintained lake and plenty of viewing points.
